Sylvester looking adorable! Sylvester was one of our first rescues from the Antelope Valley.
Sylvester
He was a "feral" kitten on a rabies hold for biting an animal control officer, which meant certain death. So we snatched him up! He's only a few weeks old in this photo.

Once we let Sylvester loose with the other kitties, he decided had enough of humans. He wouldn't let us voluntarily touch him for the next 8 years. Seriously!

We noticed his coat was looking a bit rough and his mouth and nose were bleeding, so we rushed him into the vet.
Sylvester
He ended up having to have most of his teeth pulled! He had inherited some bad genetics. On top of that, we discovered he had an infection that required being confined and medicated twice daily.

We were pretty sure we'd end up looking like a pincushion and he'd never speak to us again, but he was a trooper.
Sylvester
Once his teeth were pulled and he was healed, he was a different cat! He began asking us to pet him! WHAT?? Check it out in the next slide!
